Sonic All-Star Racing Transformed-Does anyone play?

I am STUCK trying to beat hardest difficulty level on Adder's Lair and I need just one more medal to unlock the next set of maps.
I have been stuck for like 4 years.

Any tips, glitches or shortcuts?

I play on the Xbox One/Xbox 360. I've got a 3 star license so I've pretty much beat everything except for all staff ghosts and collecting stickers. My driving skills right now are pretty weak because I'm rusty.
