Somewhat resolved: Path glitch with villager houses?!?!? Path won't erase!

I've just found this thread and I'm here to report I had the same situation happen with Sprinkle. I used the path as a marker to determine how to line her house up on the beach, but then couldn't erase it once I placed the plot down. I ended up copying the pattern I was using to a different slot and doing this to the one I laid:

Custom paths can be a bit weird at times.

I placed a log stepping stone pattern near a bridge and it went a bit closer than I anticipated. When I went to erase it, it wouldn't let me, as the bridge was too close! I tried several times, but it was down and it was not shifting.

Thankfully, in my panic I quickly hit the 'home' button and quit the game before it had chance to save.

i had no idea u could move houes on the beach.. this will certianly inpact a lot
