love of my life 💙💜
So I've spent my day today fixing up my New Leaf town so I can update the Dream Address (I'm p sure it's been at least a year or so since I last updated it). I'm currently going around my town watering all the flowers so that they're nice and shimmery, and it made me think...
I really miss how, in New Leaf, when flowers are watered they have a shiny and brighter look to them. I have tons of flowers in my New Leaf town and I've always loved the way that watered flowers look. When I found out that watered flowers in New Horizons don't look any different than regular flowers it disappointed me a lot.
I've taken a few screenshots to show yall what I mean (in case someone here hasn't played New Leaf):
It's more obvious with darker colored flowers. On the pic with the purple pansies, the ones on the right are watered and the ones on the left aren't. Notice that the watered ones are more brightly colored and they seem to shimmer. With the purple tulips, the upper ones are watered and the lower ones aren't. With the black tulips, the right ones are watered and the ones along the left aren't. In my opinion when the flowers are watered they look so nice, and that's why I'm really bummed that they removed this small but important detail from New Horizons.
Does anyone else miss the shimmering watered flowers from NL?
