Ok so my friend has the original GameCube version of Animal Crossing. So anyway he was at my house and we were playing it and then he had to go home. He had to go upstairs for a second so I was helping him pack his stuff he brought along. So I took the CD out of the Wii and the game was 100% functional! I could view the title screen and go to the town and be able to talk to all the neighbours!
Did anyone else know this?

Yeah I knew that they worked like that, I don't have the GC game so I'm not sure about the saving, or saving with any game for that matter...?

My PS2 works like that.... and so does my wii and DS too. AND my N64. Also my Gamecube. all my systens work like that. (no offense) how did u not know that? :G

Your DS would freeze if you took the cartridge out man.

Yeah it was like that with my PS2. I was still able to play whenever I ejected the CD. It still worked, but the music would just cut out.
