I opened a shop seven days ago, and for the record, I think that was the best decision I've ever made. I've brought in 100's of thousands of bells, and loads more TBT bells for that matter. Also, helps me get rid of my hoarding addiction ;-;

But I have a few pet peeves which naturally come with the whole doo-wah.

1. Mii Is Aggitated
I've had to call out on half the people on my shop thread to read the rules. I mean, I put in my rules: "Put your Mii Name in your post" and half the shop didn't do it. I had two different reasons for that rule: first, I cannot always delete you right after, and I don't want my friendbox to become filled to the brim. Second, it's confirmation that you have read the entire rule spoiler. Is it really that hard to read the third shortest spoiler on the page? I started cracking down, but I don't know if I can refuse an order ;-; help me out here guys.

2. Ordering
Now a normal order isn't hard to do, it's perfectly fine. But when people don't put prices when you clearly ask them to, it gets kind of annoying calling on every single person who does it out. I put as a rule: "Put bell prices in your post, I put the TBT prices". Since I set the TBT price, they can just say: "May I please get <insert item here> for TBT? Mii Name: <insert here>" I would accept that since I knew the TBT prices. But, even though I've only had a few instances of these, it's still annoying.

3. People who just outright break half the rules GJSDFSGFDSJFGDSF
There's this guy who went like this,
"do y yu have arched window wallpaper + Fauna's pic"
DUDE. YOU BROKE HALF THE RULES. Me and the co shop owner both told him to check the rules, but he refused to comply. FSIFOUSD8OFSDUFUDS8FSDIFDSFJDSKFHDSJFHSD

Just a little rant of mine. Am I alone with all this?

No worries you're not alone :P I've been busy lately with homework/school/social life/me time ect. and SOME people (not all) who've ordered from my hybrid shop don't seem to understand that I have a life along with a massive list of orders to complete.
I'm not gonna complain though aha they just have to be patient ;/ eventually I'll have a real hybrid rampage (when I have time to) where I just hybreed as many orders as I can.
I get distracted by other things too ~ like surprise friend visits to go shopping xD

I feel like such a hypocrite posting this, as demonstrated a few minutes earlier, lol.

I set a shop up a few days ago too, and I clearly started in the first few lines that I would not offer the price, yet people keep asking: how much do you offer? It makes me angry but as always, I can never refuse.

I wouldn't refuse an offer, as it would be my loss as well.
But, I guess I can sort of understand those who do not follow the rules. For someone like me who keeps multiple tabs of shops open, it can get quite confusing as to which shop has which rules. Furthermore, lack of time and busy schedules lead to people mindlessly reading threads.

My thoughts exactly. (I hope you don't think this thread was directed at you :3, its just everyone) Also, I thought that people looked at one shop in a time. Well, new viewpoints I guess :3

Oh my god. I totally agree with all of this. I run a shop myself. I tell people to read the rules on half the orders. It gets ridiculous as well, as I run a name-your-price shop as well.

This thread, omg. <3

My old shop thread from weeks back, which I will re-open in a few weeks time again, omg. I literally ordered all these things for the customers, and they NEVER picked it up. I held it for weeks until my town got covered in items, so I had to hire people to come and clean up. Ugh. I specifically said that I will hold items for only 7 days, the next minute I am holding onto their items for over 2 weeks or even more. Ugh. I even messaged them frequently to remind them. When customers don't get their items and ignore your messages, ;_____;

I have the exact opposite problem. I cannot get orders done quick enough :C everytime I complete one, another comes up. I guess that's just how shops go. I guess that's a good thing, because that means I'm getting business. ButterCookies and I half all the profit, and just yesterday I got a whooping 250 TBT bells. THATS JUST HALF. I have to send her another 250 because I made 500 yesterday. People are really patient though, and I am so thankful~

I agree with the whole 'name-your-price' thing. Another annoying thing (this only happened once THANK GOD) is that one girl turned up to pick up her order, and guess what?! For one, SHE DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO MOVE, and THEN she says 'How do I pick somethibg up'? I certainly wouldn't be trading with HER again...

This ~ I'm laughing right now at it xD

what the heck...? Um, why order something if you don't know how to pick it up? That seems kind of stupid and a hassle for the shop owners. The owners shouldn't have to teach you how to play AC. Also, how the heck did she get on the train station???!

I'm assuming they may have been trolling? I mean how can you get that far in the game without knowing how to pick something up and move? xD
