Some questions about Time-Travelling

I'm wondering if tting backwards will kill my flowers. I know that in previous games it didn't matter so I just want to know if anything has changed since then.

I don't believe so, but I don't know for certain /:
If you're worried about flowers you can always just switch to Beautiful Town Ordinance. Really helpful if you plan on Time Traveling~

It shouldnt it never did for me although i did have the beautiful town thing active.
