When I found my villagers hanging out in their front yards I couldn't resist but take some cute pictures ;w; not sure if this is the right place to post it, but I just thought I would share!

I love the fact that all your villagers have such big front yards I’ve always preferred this over aligning them into a grid though it saves more space!

thank you! it definitely takes up a good chunk of space but I knew I didn't want to allocate too much space for designing anyways, so I mainly focused on my neighborhood being the most decorated area of my island c:

These are great! Do you find your villagers use their yards more if they are positioned in the front of the house? I have a couple villager yards to the side of their houses and they don’t seem to use them much.

Oh wow, you gave them so much space!! I didnt give mine as much for their yards... lool. I'm already lacking some space for ideas though. Its enough to decorate at least.

So cute! I wanna do something similar (but with villagers separated into themed areas), but by the time I get around to that it'll probably be Autumn for us Northern Hemisphere people. Great job with the yards!

These are great! Do you find your villagers use their yards more if they are positioned in the front of the house? I have a couple villager yards to the side of their houses and they don’t seem to use them much.

I am not sure if the placement matters too much, but I have found that my villagers utilize sitting areas to some degree and also certain items catered to their personality. Like I noticed Diana always goes around identifying flowers with her magnifying glass so I decided to give her a flower garden and to my behold--she actually did identify them in her yard! Marshal is always singing so I put a stereo in his yard and he has sang next to it if I play the right song (doesn't seem like he likes K.K. Cruisin' that much but it fit perfectly with the theme I had going for him lol)

Thank you to everyone else too! I have so much fun decorating their yards, I did all 9 of them in the same day haha. The only house left to decorate is Molly's :>
