Sold out at Gracie Grace?

Gracie Grace's stock changes seasonally. In Spring (March 1st-May 31st) she sells the Princess Series of furniture, in Summer (June 1st-August 31st) she sells the Gracie Series of furniture, in Fall (September 1st-November 25th) she sells the Sweets Series of furniture, and in Winter (November 26th-February 24th) she sells the Gorgeous Series of furniture. She also sells various types of clothing.
Gracie Grace holds a sale during the span from the 15th through to the end of the month at the end of every season. During this period, furniture from the Card Series shows up in stock. However, items can also appear to be Sold Out as you've seen.
While it's September 1st here, I'm not sure whether it still might be August 31st where you are or if the game's clock is set to that through time travel or time zone differences. If it's still August 31st in your game (or some other time throughout the year when her sales happen), then it's just unfortunate timing and you should see her new seasonal stock starting on September 1st, or whatever other date is applicable if you're in a different season.
