Pokémon Soft Resetting Thread

Hello since there is a lot of events going on Im sure some of you may be soft resetting to get good natures and ivs. So this is just a general discussion and advice thread for all you Soft Resetters.

Im currently soft resetting for a timid Keldeo but no luck but I got one bold nature and it has 4 ivs should i keep it for continue soft resetting?

For the recent Hoopa event, I went for Lonely/Naughty nature for my physical attacker (I have X and AS) and I went for a Rash nature for my special attacker. I honestly was trying to get a lot of IVs like you were doing but I really wanted a maxed out stat for each of them and went for that instead So glad I did because I'm really happy with them and nice job on your Keldeo

Thanks! Its really hard getting 4ivs it took me 3 hours just to get keldeo and that was sheer luck too. I Sr for Hoopa and Darkrai on my OR and Y games and i wasn't trying for 4 ivs but I just got lucky and since in Sun and moon you can raise an 1 iv i will soon be having a lot of competitive legends!

Yup I got what I needed! I'll be doing this from now on with my legendaries since I love stats that are maxed

Oooh I'm addicted to my events having perfect stats! I also SR for the Timid Keldeo but it didn't half take a while to do. I need to check its IV's though.

I reset for a beneficial nature only, not that I'd ever use most of these events in battle anyway.

This is by far the longest soft reset I have ever done 10 hours and still I haven't gotten the 4iv Modest/Timid Volcanion ugh I want to give up

after 38 hours of soft resetting I have given up and settled with a 3iv modest volcanion

At least you can definitely make it 4IV in Sun and Moon. Unless it's confirmed we can get all IVs to be perfect with hyper training? I'm currently SR Volcanion right now too.

good luck and im hoping you can trade with other players and then they can do hyper training so i can get it to 5iv

I'm not sure why they would place a limit on the amount of IVs you can raise? Besides, it's pretty much already confirmed that every single IV can be maxed through Hyper Training if you look at the before and after picture for a Pikachu that has had all of its IVs maxed out, here: http://serebii.net/sunmoon/hypertraining.shtml

I'm not taking anything for granted, considering how awkward GF has made having competitive mon (especially legendaries) up until this point.. But the image really is a good sign.
