So Portia's leaving my town..

Unfortunately, Portia is leaving my town and on both games there's no room for her to move in. What should I do? Should I sell her or should I ask somebody on the forums to hold her? The only problem with asking somebody to hold her on the forums is that they may not give her back or accidentally move her out or even just dissapear off the face of the earth and that's what i'm worried about.. what should I do?

Well i would give her away. And then decide if you want her back, then just look for her again if you do.

Do you have any friends who have room? My friend was kind enough to hold a villager for me while I cycled. You can ask the "hold my villager" thread and maybe look for someone who's had experience holding people before so they don't accidentally lose them. If you're worried they won't give them back look for a good wifi rating.

There are honest members who will hold villagers for you. Is there always a chance something unfortunate might happen? Yes. Also, if you sell her/give her away, you can always get another Portia, but she won't be 'your' Portia. So I say if she means that much to you, try finding a trusted friend or member here who will be gracious enough to hold her for you. Good luck, sweetie! I feel for you. I just re-adopted Portia today after losing her a while back. She is a wonderful villager

i would sell her instead of asking forum members to hold.you wouldn't have much luck finding a user here who is willing to hold anyway. most of us already have a full town. when i tried to look for someone to hold stitches in the holding thread, there was no response at all.
