:) Trees seemed to have gone extinct on my island. Chopping down dozens of trees is so therapeutic.

You can just cleanup service them and not waste time and axes and shovels on them.

Doesn’t that only take out one tree at a time unless they’re really close together?

I just got the tools yesterday myself, but it seems like going through the menu steps for the service would be more tedious than doing it manually.

I think it removes anything within a certain radius of you.

I will start in 13 days from now since I have to move everything to the beach and in the back. I have 2 house move and just pay off another 50K to have another house move.

Terraforming unlock like a week ago but doesn't start until every building is move which really suck.

Literally all I've been doing this past like.. 10 days? Literally like 700k Bells spent moving things.

good luck! i have don't really know how I plan to terraform lol!

Try sketching things out to get a few ideas. Just, like, pick an area you want to work on and just sketch. Works surprisingly well. It is what I did for a good month until I finally sketched something up I'm happy about.

Though, I suppose this sort of thing is a little easier on me since I'm a bit of a landscaping hobbyist.

If you're using the axe and shovel, it takes 3 swings to cut down the tree and then you have to dig up the stumps and clean up the wood. It may be slightly faster than using the menu, but I find the menu cleaner and simpler and it can take out multiple trees at once if they're close enough together. If you're using fruit to dig the trees whole to sell or toss, then you have to spend time eating fruit. It probably doesn't really matter which way you go.

yeah, I have a few small areas that I started to decorate, and I also think i'm going to have a little villager neighborhood going on in the bottom corner of my island C: I don't have that much stuff (furniture and whatnot) unlocked though, so my mental roadblock may be due to being uncertain of what all I can do :p Thank you for the tips! Also, being a landscaping hobbyist sounds fun and seems like it would be really helpful for this! :D

Yeah I suppose it just comes down to preference. I’m the opposite where I’d rather do something myself than click through the menu options.

I estimate it a total of 1.5 millions to move everything twice. I got rid of all of my cliffs as I'm making a very unique map where every individual cliff will be drawn out by me. I want cliff at the front and not at the back because the nothern shore view is breathtaking. I want to make my island unlike anything people have seen before. So I spend 5 days getting rid of all cliff and just finish today. It was very long and boring. Also got rid of all rivers and ponds. I'm going to terraform from the ground up. I can't wait! But I don't TT so yeah it going to be close to 2 weeks for thing to get started. In the meantime each day is quite rather boring since there really nothing to do.

The map is so small I had to redraw up my plan.

That's great. I think my terraforming journey also begins tomorrow since i've just finished the requirements needed for terraforming today. However, i don't have enough miles to pay for the permits

Yes, very tedious and harder than it needs to be.

I think it removes anything within a certain radius of you.

It does a 3x3 grid, with your character being in the center. The most you could do is 4 trees, provided you planted them like this

X0X
0P0
X0X

X = Tree
0 = Nothing
P = Player
