So my “quarry” is a failure. help.

Yesterday I used bell bags and a rock spawned in the middle, figured they were unreliable so I used more mannequins. Nothing spawned today despite there being 3x3 spaces free. I guess the fences are blocking rocks from spawning? what should I use instead? I’ve been told my mannequins are terrifying and want them gone asap. Help.
I also got no glowing money spots today so something went really really wrong. lol

I don't think they are guaranteed to spawn every single day? I've read that some people only found their new rock after 2-3 days.

Remove the mannequins and use stone/something other than sand, dirt or dark dirt paths! the mannequins might be preventing spawn
Only put dirt/sand in the exact spots you want the rocks to go and then change the stone later

another thing: sometimes the game goes weird and thinks something's blocking a rock from spawning even when there's nothing in the way. It happened to me and drove me absolutely insane because everything was set for a rock to spawn but nothing showed up (for me the thing blocking the way was an incline like 2 or 3 tiles away.
If it still doesnt spawn get rid of everything 2 to 3 tiles away from where you want the rocks and just use stone paths to prevent them from spawning in the wrong places, then you can get rid of them afterwards. I dont think stone paths cause the same issue so you should be ok
