So, I Reset my Village...

...and I already feel great. I was dreading trying to remove the unwanted flowers that were overrunning everything, and I wasn't happy with a lot of my villagers, but I didn't want to move them out because I'd feel bad. Well, today, I started thinking about themed villages and how cool it would be to make one, so I finally bit the bullet. I'm rebuilding Matcha from the ground up. ...honestly, my main regrets are that I lost all my progress on the museum, that I'll have to unlock GracieGrace again, and that I put so much effort into completing the Harvest Festival!

Still, I'm happy. I have a plan for landscaping, I have a proper set of dreamies (I'll be updating my signature as soon as this post is made), and I have a heart full of hope! Now I just have to hope that Rover will give me a decent map...

good luck! that's similar to the reason I reset Lilymoor. If you feel like you need to reset, then reset. You will definitely not regret it (◜◡◝).

Sometimes I think Rover gets the most unsuitable maps he can find with like 50 ponds and then decides they'd be perfect for a town.. Good luck on the town and map though!

I was lucky with my recent reset too. I got Beau as a starter as well as all the others in my signature with I think one more on the way. Resetting.. best decision ever!!

Now I just have a couple of decisions to make... do I use my TBT to buy my dreamies, or buy a bunch of IGB to pay my home loans off faster? What flowers and bushes do I want to plant? I had my landscaping planned based on cherries as my native fruit.

I think with perfect oranges, I could maybe grow pink, yellow, orange, and white cosmos and lilies... or maybe tulips. As for bushes, I think either white azaleas or sweet olive might work well. Not like I have to decide immediately, but it'd be a good idea to figure it out sooner rather than later.

Oh, I know! I meant that the plans I originally had were for a town with cherries... but when I rerolled, I got oranges.

I just recently restarted my second! I love Stitches and hopefully I'll get him in my town soon.... Thankfully I found Erik randomly in my campsite this morning though! I luckily got Ankha as a starter so I'll probably trade her for Stitches or Molly or another dreamie.

I went and did it again! Got a better map, apples as my native fruit (!!!), a private beach (I may build my house over it orrrr I may build it in the crook of the river and save the beach spot for a lighthouse)... aaaand a disappointing batch of starters. Oh, well. At least Re-Tail is a decent distance from the beach.
