And I'm kind of disappointed :T It's nice to have my main street all filled out now, and not to have a trash can where her shop is anymore, but I wish it would have looked at least a little different. It's the same interior as the tent you see her in when she visits your town square, with the same tent-like walls and everything.

I also think it's weird that the lovely phone eliminates the need for Katrina's shop (and paying her 500 bells) because you can find out your fortune through the hotline you call xD

but now you can get the lucky items from Katrina: the Celebration hat, and the Tingle hood. on a day where you're having bad luck, and you have 10k bells on you, and you dont have in your possession her recommended clothing of the day, she'll sell you the Celebration hat or the Tingle hood, which really do improve your luck in the game.

you may not have had enough bells on you when you visited her. or, you may have already had the clothing item with you that she was recommending for improving your luck (sunglasses, shorts, whatever it may have been that day). she only offers to sell you the permanent lucky hats if you are missing the clothing item that is in her daily fortune...

check your fortune first at the lovely phone, then if its a bad luck day, make sure when you go to Katrina that you have the 10k bells, and that you do NOT have the clothing recommended in that day's fortune.

It is disappointing that her shop interior is the same as her tent interior, but I don't regret building her shop. It makes Main Street look complete and I never have to see her again if I don't want to...and I don't want to! LOL

not always. I've tested multiple times wearing the hat and not wearing it. I noticed the chances of getting her exclusives are highly increased while wearing it.
Although.. I'm not sure of what my item luck was for the days I tested. Could've been bad or good luck, or no item luck at all.

I'm a completionist so I will be glad when I get Katrina's shop. That said, on days I don't have her I normally use my lovely phone. So I probably won't visit her shop much. I have lost track of how many times I've visited her tent.
