I'm still diving daily to get mermaid recipes and the nook achievement.
It takes me anywhere from 3 sea creatures up to multiple trips to Nooks to empty my pockets. I usually find him within 1 trip into the ocean.
He usually shows up on the first scallop, but I've had him show up on the 4th.
How easy/hard is it for you to find Pascal? Are you still diving to look for him?
I spent an hour looking for scallops the other day and no luck. The first time I found Pascal it was on the 4th catch (of general sea creatures, then I got my first scallop) or so. Seems to be varied, but I'm still looking for him for the mermaid set daily.
I've been lucky that the first diving creature is a scallop and he pops up. There was a time I didn't get him until 20 minutes into diving because I couldn't find a single scallop.
I'm still looking for him because I'm missing the shoes, one dress, and three more diys
I have to do it on two extras because I got hit with the catalog glitch on the shelves and the dresser. So I need my extras to get them for me.
I've only had him show up on the 4th scallop one time. That took over 50 catches to get him that day. Most of the time he comes on the first scallop. I've been lucky enough a few times now where my first catch of the day was a scallop and he came. Every time I see my character coming up with a scallop I pray that Pascal comes because it's super annoying when he doesn't. And then of course, after he comes, I'm praying once again that he gives me a DIY. It's safe to say that Pascal and I have quite the love and hate relationship.
i have 2 characters, and i try to find time during my day to search scallops for both of them. until i complete the full set at least. it would be half an hour to an hour for me, because even if it's easy for 1 character, it could take long for the other.
Usually Pascal shows up after my first scallop. If he doesn't, I just give up and try another day. Diving can be quite tedious sometimes, so it's frustrating when he decides not to come.
It depends! Sometimes it only take me around 5 minutes (or even less than if I’m really lucky!), but sometimes it takes around 2-3 almost full inventory before he finally decides to show up. Still missing the mermaid screen diy, the mermaid tiara, 2 dresses so I still have to diligently look for him which is no problem for me since the novelty of diving has yet to wear off for me.
It really depends for me, but usually it takes about 10-15 minutes, which is too long for me to want to do it regularly, although it does seem fruitful as the mermaid recipes are so cool! And the pearls are great to receive to make them! I just don't like any of the mermaid clothing :/ So I don't really know what to do with them, except keep them in storage.. for the foreseeable future ^__^
It really depends on the day! Yesterday I swam for over an hour and got multiple scallops and he didn't show. I closed the game, started again, still nothing. It wasn't until the evening that he actually came. I find he makes me work harder to find him on days where he gives out DIYs. If he's giving me a pearl that day sometimes I've gotten him on the first dive without even having gotten any creatures yet. It's super variable for me I guess!
