i swear, since this started i'm pretty much not getting ANY shells now. i seriously got !5! normal shells yesterday in hours of play... not even a single summer one either. no recipes, no announcements, NOTHING... it's like every time they add a new event is makes things worse for some of us. i play daily, i've never TT'd at all, and i literally go a month or more between some of the visitors, campers, people asking to move out or seeing any event stuff and it all started with the earth day patch for me. i'm just about ready to shelve this game at this point. i know it's just the RNG, but it's making the game a chore and not fun anymore.
Honestly I'd recommend TT'ing if you're getting that unlucky with RNG. I'm still having quite a bit of fun TT'ing, even though I've experienced almost all of the game. Doing it where you do the current day you're on for 3 or 4 hours, then going to the next day is quite enjoyable. Totally understand if you absolutely don't want to though.
