so frustrated!!

iam like ridiculously frustrated right now.. im totally not liking my town anymore.. ii feel like crying, ii want to restart my game all over, im so freaken annoyed ii really dont know why ive gotten so upset about it though.. has anyone else felt like this? like ive worked sooooo hard to get where im @ today, ive learned lots of things, ii just started playing this game in February, ive come soooo far, and now.. right when ii get all my pwps requested, going through so many Villagers, ii just dont know what to do, ii dont know where to put them, ii dont have any idea anymore of how ii want my town to be/look like, its like writers block, bht ii guess we should call it Animal-Block-Crossing!? idk.. im not liking my paths.. ii had 3 bridges, finally got requested the FairyTale Bridge ii was SO stoked.. ii decided to move 2 of them and ii kinda like them, bht now the houses of some of the villagers are just in the way and its making my paths look ugly.. im so sad.. ii just needed to vent.. any advice on what ii should do, id be more than grateful to hear...

oh and, im waiting on my 10th villager, Doc, he has my bday and im super excited to get him, bht he might have been the problem idk.. when ii saw somebody who had him that is gonna let me get him, ii started tryna think of where he should go, who ii needed to move out and whats the best place.. now im just like UGGHHHHHH (sorry so long)

I think you should just let things sit for a bit. If I dont know where to put a PWP I just wait untill I get a great idea.^^
Meanwhile, you could work on other things:

• browse tumblr for paths or new ideas
• visit a few dream addresses to get inspired
• discover some cute outfit QR codes
• plan out your villagers and houses
• relocate a villager if necessary
• move someone out to get a dreamie in
• redecorate a room in your house
• do some landscaping with trees, bushes and hybrids

all these things can make you get the best ideas^^
If you dont know what to do with something, just let it sit for a bit and do something else.
Sometimes it can be fun to not play yourself but look at other people?s creations.
Eventually, the ideas will hit you one by one.

Venting is OK and can be helpful. So can shutting down for a while to take a short break. Sleep. Go do something else until your head is on straight and you're ready to sort it out. Believe me, it happens to ALL of us.

awhh that sucks a lot :/ sounds like a classic case of overthinking, which i do a ton. i'd recommend what everyone else has, take a little break! you need to revisit this with fresh eyes. think of all of the things that you like about your town when you're done with your break. maybe just clear out all of your paths and see where you wander naturally, things like that. but i'm sure it'll be better after you get some rest.

ill try looking ideas up and then clearing out the paths.. just clearing them alone will take awhile, my town is an unbelievable mess right now bc ii learned to plot reset so its covered in my paths.. and thennnn covered in random spots so they wont move there, and thennnn ii tried to cover it also in flowers bc hunting for thoses Xs alone are nuts especially when you cant find em, so tiring, so my "bright idea" thought well let me cover almost all of my town except for a few spots so ii can easily find them.... did it work? well yea kinda, bht it makes my town look super awful lol

lol im sure it is.. ill just look some new ideas up, and try to reset by erasing the paths for now.. kinda sucks though bc if ii move fwd in anymore days ill have a new villager, and im really tryna hold out, so ii can get Doc from this girl who said she would scan him in for me...

Yes you need to have 16 villagers move out after a villager to be able to invite him back.
I recently did that to pretty much my entire town, then bought them back here for tbt.
Its not as much work as you might think. Sure it?s a bit tedious but if you relocate your entire town it would take about 2 days or less, depending on how many hours you work on it each day.

Uh I know what you mean, I have too many of one kind as well! At first I thought I should have all types, then I cut out a few because they didnt have PWPs I was interested in. Now I just have the ones I liked and then Plucky because she was the best I could find in terms of uchi villagers. Once she suggested all the PWPs I want, I might let her go for Bill or keep her if she grows on me^^

Another thing: when you buy back your villagers here I STRONGLY advise you to make your own thread. That was probably the most frustrating part of the whole process because it always seems to go like this:

• someone gets a big amiibo collection
• they open a shop thats way too cheap
• they get overrun by people
• they stop responding to orders within a few days (if they last that long)
• people keep ordering for weeks/months with no further reply of the seller

I think pretty much only "Nana?s villager shop" (she has the most popular dreamies) and a few cycling towns are truly active right now and do orders daily.
If you want anything thats not listed there, open a new thread and the users who just have the cards but dont want to open a shop will stop by and offer to scan them for some tbt. Its so much more efficient than looking for villager shops, posting something and waiting for days before you realize that the owner probably abandoned the shop...

Uh I know what you mean, I have too many of one kind as well! At first I thought I should have all types, then I cut out a few because they didnt have PWPs I was interested in. yesss, exactly.. ii was waiting for my Jock to ask for my last pwp, bht my time frame was getting cut short, so ii had to choose between Claudia and Muffy, it was awful they both held a significance with me, so ii chose Claudia.. thennn the next day Antonio my Jock requested the pwp!!! soooo happy so ii had to go stop Claudia.. bht then DOC who ii most def. want ii found someone had him, so ii had to choose Muffy bc again ii was on a time frame, come to see that ii havent been able to catch the person online for him so im just waiting and Muffy left today, so ii cant move in time @ all bc someone random will just come and ii dont want that lol, hence why ii was so frustrated earlier!!! bht im going to try out your plan!! and ill def. let you know if ii need help or dont understand something thanks!!

Yeah thats what I was talking about above. If you can, only get villagers from people who are active daily (at least currently).
Having to freeze time and wait for others to be available is so much more frustrating than doing tedious work yourself...

With the lack of commas in your post, I can feel how frustrated you are with your current situation. But RNG hits us at the back like this all the time because that's part of life. If you're still mad over this, then take your mind off of it or do something to relieve your stress.

Try putting 450 hours of work into a town and then losing everything because the game data corrupted. Now that really hurts.
