You have to have made the other three members of the snow family, and they all have to have been made perfectly. Then you have to make him and have him be perfect as well.

you don't have to make him last...as long as the other three are made before he melts you can still go talk to him once they are made and he will give you the item. I made him second, and after I made his mother and brother on the 3rd and 4th day, I went and talked to him and he sent me the matryoshka. If they aren't all made perfect you still get an item. I made 3 of them imperfect and got that item.
