I made a snowmam today, but I think because she was built right next to my bell PWP, she disappeared the second I went inside a building and back out again. However, the weather's sunny in Stardust, and there are snowflakes falling everywhere.

So I guess Snowmam's ghost is still causing the snowflakes to appear? XD

Snowflakes fall no matter if you have a snowmam or not, or whatever weather you have

Snowflakes, unless there is a Snowmam in your town, don't fall unless it's snowing. That's what I've read all over the Internet. This morning, before I built the Snowmam, the weather was sunny, no clouds, and no snowflakes were falling.

They are there. Oddly enough I found most while wandering the beach. Water flowers or fish. If you're holding a net they seem to know you're on the hunt. Just my observation.

The internet is wrong.

I do believe a Snowmam is necessary to make them spawn more often outside of snowy weather, though.

Yep, I had snowflakes falling before I built any snowmen, too. I was going to save them to give to one when I made it, but then I found out you can't store them. :p Odd that she disappeared, though. I built one too close to my pavement and when I came back he was just moved a whole step forward.
