I woke up late today, with only an hour to catch Joan before she went travelling again. Her prices were 101 Bells each, and so I decided against buying any turnips. I visited my new villager, a black rabbit with buck teeth, named Cole. He seems nice, but didn't seem to want to talk a lot. Perhaps he's just shy?
I went to see what Able Sisters, Kicks and T&T Mart had in stock, and ended up buying more than I had budgeted for! When I went to talk to Sable, she had a sweet surprise for me! A mannequin! I can dress it up however I want, and at the moment it is in my lounge, wearing a cute pink and white outfit I got from a QR Code, a Heart Hairpin and Pink Sneakers. So cute!
I also scanned a path design to use instead of the boring ones I had laid out before. The path is now two squares in width, so they're easier to run on and get past villagers. I need to get another axe as some trees are blocking the path though.
I visited my friend Anna in Faraway in the afternoon and had a great time looking at what her shops had to offer, and seeing the amazing work she's done on her PWPs and landscaping.
After I'd visited Anna, I paid off my loan and the Dream Suite. I then went to Tom Nook, and asked to expand my second floor again, leaving me with nothing to do but relax. I went to the island for a while and caught a few rare bugs and a couple of sharks which got me a good 30,000 Bells. I then headed back to the sound of rain against the shore.
I'm going to go to the island again now to farm bugs and perhaps catch a few more sharks. I'm planning on building a fountain tomorrow, and that 598, 000 Bell loan isn't going to repay itself! Time to get to work!
