silly question about patterns!

No sure if anyone knows the answer to this or not but.

I plan on giving my alt an exhibit partition to keep in his house. He holds all my path-patterns in town, so all his pattern slots are full, and I don't wanna change them.

So, if my mayor puts a design on the partition wall, and gives it to the alt character - will the pattern stay?

You won't even be able to give the Partition Wall to the alt character. If you refurbish an item with a custom pattern, that item won't even be able to be dropped. You'll actually notice that regular-refurbished items have a red leaf icon, while items refurbished with a pattern have a yellow leaf icon. So the game is designed so that it won't have to mess with this sort of thing.

If you want your alt to have the partition wall, he'll have to hold the pattern himself and refurbish the item himself.

Well thanks for your help! I've never seen the yellow leaf before in my game. Now I know!
