Show me how you decorated for summer! (or winter)

I know we're set to see new items with the update, but I couldn't wait to refresh some rooms and outdoor areas for summer! It's gotten pretty hot where I live, and the villagers were talking about how hot they were... so I needed to lighten some things up! Or if you're playing Southern hemisphere, did you cozy any thing up for winter?

I'm really happy (and surprised!) by how my tropical kitchen turned out. It's not at all what I intended when I started redecorating (and actually changed the room it was in altogether). I'm still hoping to change out the table/chairs and add some wall items. If you've ever cooked in an air-conditioner-less kitchen in the Southeast, you'll appreciate this one. The fans making the plants rustle is *everything.* I love how loud the retro fan is.

Yes! The Dala horse on top of the fridge is just *chef's kiss* And the use of the Ironwood DIY workbench to add a cluttered, lived in feel is great.

I changed up my main room for summer and have posted it elsewhere but I will share it here as well. It was sort of an experiment -I was thinking about the kitschy idealism of the 1980s when I made the room - and ended up keeping it.

@Hirisa I love the dried bamboo and rattan together, I'll have to remember that one! I do feel that we have less furniture than NL, but I think the customization lends itself to mixing and matching *much* better in NH. I always try to pick from a few sets.
Your little laptop workstation is killing me too! I don't think I've ever seen that task lamp.
