Should my hardcopy or digital be my main?

Hello everyone! I am in a bit of a pickle at the moment. I can't decide whether or not I should put my main town on my digital version or not. I recently bought a digital copy of the game, the other is hardcopy. One of them will be there to help make my main town great and be a giveaway town. There is an option on the game to transfer my main town to the downloadable and here are my questions for you guys:

-For those of you who have acnl digitally: Have you every experienced any problems with the digital copy like glitching, loosing progress etc

-Having it digitally would be so convenient just to click on but at the same time it means that I can only use my main town on my n3dsxl and not my n3ds.

My main town is digital, then I use my bf's abandoned town (cartridge) to sell villagers and buy stuff from RVs - basically to supplement my main town. I've had my main town since 2015 and haven't had any issues whatsoever. I love that it is always in my 3DS wherever I go, and my system still has the cartridge slot open for another game if I want

I have never had a reason to play my main town in any other system and I don't regret not having the ability.

Hope my perspective can help you make a decision Honestly, I wish that I got all my games as digital. I love the convenience of having my entire library in one place! I actually considered buying digital versions of all my games to transfer my files into but it would be quite expensive lol.

Thank you so much for the response! I totally get the convenience thing lol. I have 5 digital games and it's great! Especially for travel.

Main = digital. Physical = giveaway.

When you get tired of running a giveaway town you can then sell the game on no problem.

Personally, if I could I would put my digital copy onto a physical copy. I'm clumsy and have dropped my 3ds so many times that one of the shoulder buttons broke -- which means I can not take screenshots of my town anymore. I also once had a technical problem which wiped all of my games to have no data on them. However -- this is probably be related to clumsiness too haha!
