Should I put bushes around my walkway?

I'm making a walkway and I plan to put bushes around and have an entrance to the wild through another way, so the town and forest were seperated.

However, as rocks getting in the way of everything, and some other stuff, I was rethinking it.

So should I have bushes around my walkway?

Rocks are so annoying! I think walkways look good lined with bushes. I have mine lined with a combo of bushes, trees and/or flowers.
