I know it is basically my choice, but I don't know if I should get back in it again. I have some free time in real life but I don't know if I could play the game again. The update looks really cool though and makes me wanna actually play it.
It's like this, I don't know if I could actually play it without my "OCD" triggering in. Lol. What do you guys think?

If I did play it what should my town be called?

Git lost in the sauce~

And since you like SAO, maybe name the town Alfheim?

hmm... they updated the game so villagers won't move in on paths, so maybe that'll alleviate your OCD a bit?

It definitely doesn't hurt to try and play it again, if you still own the game. Well, I guess other than your OCD.

Wow I hope the QR path thing is true! That is definitely a big source of OCD for us more inclined to that sort of thing. Harry moved directly in my path, in front of a bridge and I almost stopped playing the game because of it.

Whether you want to play the game again or not is really up to you! A lot of the things that annoyed people seem to have been fixed in the update and the game itself is super relaxing.

Did they really??

EDIT: Now 100% confirmed here https://www.reddit.com/r/AnimalCros...a_you_can_now_decide_where_a_villager_places/
If you fill your entire town with patterns, the villager will place their house randomly, like before the update.

Not 100% confirmed, but it was tested here:

2) https://www.reddit.com/r/AnimalCros...villagers_no_longer_move_in_on_paths/d9m1055/

Also, if you do this, use this pattern to control where your villagers move in:
O O O O O O
O X O O X O
O O O O O O
O O O O O O
O X O O X O
O O O O O O

It's less work than putting down a QR code on every spot.
