Recently I lost my ACNL, which is eh I was pretty upset ^^; but my cousin gave me her copy.
Anyways since I'm going to start over, I'm planning on doing a cat town, since I love the cats of AC :3 The only downside there's no smug cats...but I also kinda want to do a dreamies village. So I want to ask you guys, should I do a full on cat village or a dreamie village?

I have an all cat town, and I love it. None of my villagers are my overall dreamies, but I've grown really close to every single one of them. But if you don't think you would be happy playing without your dreamies, I would go for your dreamies.

I've heard a lot of talk about all cat towns since I joined. I guess it's a popular thing to do. For that reason, I think you should stick to getting your personal dreamies. I think having all the same species could be boring.

If you're worried about not being able to get a smug villager, you could do cats and dogs, cats and birds, or cats and mice? There's at least one smug of each of those species.

I have a couple of single species towns and while I like 'em there are certain limitations involved(not all personalities represented,if you don't like one of your villagers, your options for replacing them are limited, etc.),especially if it's the only town you have. But if most of your dreamies are cats anyways, you might as well go for an all cat town.

No, bc that would be speciesist.

Also why wouldn't you have a dreamie village? You should only do an all cat village if all your dreamies are cats. But again, that would be speciesist.

I wouldn't but it depends on your tastes. I like cats in AC but I'd limit myself to meeting all kinds of new villagers.

I say go for it if you want to, I was trying to vote for cats and dreams because if your dream is an all cat town then pick your dram cats and go..I had the same issue with there is not all types when I did my sheep town, no jock or cranky sheep..In my wolf town I added two dogs and Kyle and that worked out minus a jock..The deer town had them all luckily..When I decided to move types together it took a lot of time and effort but you already knowing at the start will make it easier and I love my typed towns as much as the others with a few multi types..I did start out once trying to do a bird town large included and realized I didn't really love most of that type so that didn't work and it transitioned to horses..but I sadly had already let Ed and Winnie go by then so put my cats I couldn't find space for there until someday if I decide to cycle for Winnie back but it all took so long I am happy my typed towns are pretty much done and can start one with random so..anyway the missing a type thing is not a huge deal, unless your worried about pwps then I'd try to get them before you out your jock if you start with one..Sorry long reply but I have typed towns and I enjoy them. However if you only have one copy and have more and different dreamies and can't do both then do what makes you happiest.

I think a dream village would be better because it nice to have different animals, but if you have a lot of cat dream villagers then go for the cat village.

I voted for an all cat town but I would vote for both! Getting your dreamies is important as well. Even though lots of people have been making all cat towns, if you want one too, you shouldn't let that stop you. :)

If you really want a cat village and a smug villager, why not have 9 cats + Lionel? He's a member of the cat family at least.

Since you love the cats of AC, so maybe it is best to do an all cat town ^-^ your 10th villager can always be a dreamie of yours.

The poll is tied. I think ultimately you should do what your heart wants you to do. I think deep down you want to do the cat town :p

Oops I'm sorry if I confused my dreamies are cats ^^; I did it a long time ago with my description, and I'm liking new villagers. So that's why I made this post. I'm sorry for all the confusion. :)

go for a dreamie village! It's good if you have a range of animals and all the personalities because an all cat town is too common.

I'm finding it very amusing that when I voted and only 10 votes were done, it was 50/50. Now that 30 people have voted, it's still exactly 50/50. I'm guessing this doesn't really help with your decision, huh? xD
