I am completely lost on what to do. I want(ed) to build a hospital in my museum rooms. My friend had a little sister that passed away back in October due to cancer. As she was looking through my catalog, I have the hospital screen and hospital bed and the doctors mask, she saw the items, and got tears in her eyes and started to sniffle. She is new to AC and I know she'll look in the rooms. Should I?

My grandmother (who raised me from a baby-14) passed away, in a hospital, in pretty bad condition, but it wouldn't bother me if my friend did this (if my friend played animal crossing lol)

As far as your friend, it depends on her age, of course and how sensitive she is to things.
But eventually, she's going to have to learn to live with her pain, and she's going to be reminded of her sister....every single day of her life. The littlest, most random things could potentially remind her of her sister. So, I think it doesn't really matter, if you do or not. Don't shove it in her face, but if she sees it, she does. I don't think it'll hurt her feelings, and if it does, and she overreacts, she'll realize she was being irrational, at some point in the future.
It's just a game. Have fun, and your friend has my deepest most sincere condolences.

I've visited houses thru the dream suite and they had a hospital.
Small waiting room at the entrance with some beds in the back.
Put it in the museum and let her know that it's there. She can choose if she wants to see it.
A few kiddie pieces from the furniture would be cool for a small playroom for the sick children.
Lots of outfits to dress your mannequins in.

I put a hospital in my museum, I like it very much and it make the town feel more like a town to me. I'm very sorry for your friends loss but a hospital room in your town is your choice. If you were close to your friends sister as well, it would be a nice little memorial for her.

Thanks for the information. I just want to be cautious because of the loss. There was a hospital screen, and she said it reminded her of her sister. I just don't want to hurt her. I'm not saying she'll unfriend me or anything.
She's already hurt.
I doubt a room in a museum in a video game is going to be worse that what she's already been through.
Also, I don't agree that it's a good memorial for her...if you think about it.
Her sister possibly suffered and did die in a hospital room and she possibly witnessed all of this.
(I say possibly, because I don't know. I wasn't there)
...So, a nice memorial is the most painful place she was in?
That makes no sense.
I just wouldn't let her see it any time soon, or like others said just warn her about it.
Like I said, I doubt that a room in a video game is going to make her hurt more than she already is.
If you feel like it's too soon or something like that, then wait a while to do it.
