I absolutely ADORE Dizzy, Sterling, and Deirdre, but they’re all in the ugly starter houses. I don’t know what to do... Should I let them move anyway to make room for new islanders? The only one I would never let move is Dizzy, but i’m not sure about the other two
What I'd recommend is to get the pictures from Sterling and Deirdre first, then possibly let them go. If you end up finding them again on an island, then great! If you don't end up finding them again, at least you'd have the pics already as a memory.
Also if you don't like their starter houses, which I think everyone hates the starter houses, both Sterling and Deirdre can be bought / traded for on the cheap.
I was in the same boat, Sterling and Deirdre are both my starting villagers and I liked them a lot!
I ultimately let Sterling go as I got Roald and thought Roald's a way better Jock, funny and I liked him more.
Deirdre I struggled, I do not like any other Uchi, but I really wanted her to live in her original house. I let her go and placed an order for her Amiibo on ebay lol. I'll island hop a little but will surely scan her back someday
You can get their pictures first then move them out or you can let someone hold them and get them back so they have their main interior, not their starter interior.
