I've heard lots of good things about it; replayability, funny dialogues, online play etc, so I'm wondering if I should get this game. One of the only complaints I've heard are the controls.

Yes. One of the best 3DS games there is (at least outside of Japan, anyway). The controls are a little odd, but there are quite a few configurations. Just play around with it until you find one you're comfortable with. You'll get used to the controls after a while.

yes, it's a great game! the controls are awkward at first but that's the only setback of the game, in my opinion.
there's a lot to do, even after the game. especially playing on multiplayer mode, that never gets old

YES YES YES YES YES!! One of my favourite if not my actual favourite! A fantastic game :) Yeah the controls are a little strange but they can easily get used to after a little while :)

Yes, you should. There are better Nintendo games, but it's awesome. If my 3DS XL wouldn't have broken, I'd still play it online. But even if you're playing in-game rather than online, it's still good. But in my opinion, online play was most fun about KIU.

I'd get it if I were you, I just got it for my birthday and it's a lot of fun, though the item fusion system is a little confusing.
Also, Trundle, why are you posting in yellow when there's a white background!? D:

The game didn't keep my attention for that long. Fire Emblem: Awakening is a good game to get though :3 :3

Nobody can read what your saying and were all gonna go blind trying to look at that yellow nonsense.

Kid Icarus got good scores, 9 or 10. I didn't like it though. Controls were weird. Can't focus on dialogue and action at the same time. And pit is a dork. Not my cup of tea really.

Kid Icarus: Uprising is pretty much one of my favorite 3DS games to date. If a fast paced third person shooter/action game is right up your alley, then I won't see why you wouldn't like this one.

As for the controls, I recommend holding your 3DS with both hands. This is how I play the game efficiently without having too much hand cramp.

It's really awesome, but the only issue I have with the controls is that because I'm left-handed I'm pretty much at a disadvantage. I can play the game mostly fine, but probably MUCH better if I had the Circle Pad Pro add-on. Just be really careful if you're unlucky like me and are left-handed...

And I have no problem at all with the controls. They're pretty comfy after a few hours. (Then again, I have over 100 hours logged, so it might be a while if you find them annoying.)

I've heard the game is impossible for left handed players on certain difficulties(which is sad, really.. it seems nintendo's found another way to take a giant step backward in gaming)

I dont get the issue with the controls. I was at a Table Tennis tournament the other day and then this one kid was there had a 3DS, and I asked him if he could quickly stay still so I can streetpass him. Then I looked at his 3DS game case and noticed he had Kid Icarus Uprising, I asked him if I could play it and he let me play it. I played the game and I had NO issue with the controls at all. It is a great game in my opinion. The touch screen controls aren't bad at all.
