Should I get another copy of ACNL?

Hmm, I personally think that's a lot of money to spend on a game you already own. Depending on what you'd like to use it for though there's a lot to consider.

If you just want to relive the experience of building up a town, why not just reset and start over?

If you wanna. I justified buying another because it was my birthday and I found giftcards that I could have used on something useful, but I definitely haven't regretted it. I had it as a cycling town for a while and now I'm building another town because my main town is almost done.

The only thing that could be better is having another ds with it.

if you have two 3ds's then i think you should buy another copy

there are some things you can do with that setup, like give yourself train station upgrade very easily

you can also have 1 3ds be on sunday, and the other 3ds TT for a good turnip price. Then you can buy/sell turnips with yourself!

If you can afford it. Like the other comments, try to get a used copy. But idk, if you think it's worth it in the long run...

I have 3 copies and kind of regret it because I hardly touch ACNL, aside from breeding hybrids, etc., u__u.

I'd only recommend getting another copy for cycling. I got another one to create another town, but it's actually pretty stressful trying to keep up with two towns...in my opinion anyways.

My second copy is worth it's weight in gold. My time is worth alot of money to me (I work alot of overtime) so the time I saved getting my gold and dreamies from having a second cycling town was amazing. "Legitimately" farming beatles gets you 1 Million in just under 2 hours. With a second copy I was able to get 50M and 5 dreamies (The really expensive ones too...) in probably 10-15 hours. So worth the saved time for just 35$.

I also use it to visit a second town for signatures, grab weeding day items. Lots of benefits. I keep most of my money on my second copy. After hearing all the corruption stories I think that if my file ever corrupted I could get back to a head start with the Millions I have in my \Twirls moustache "Swiss Bank Account".

Edit: I should probably say these benefits needed a second 3DS as well.

I got my second copy with a 2DS bundle. The game itself cost $20 if you take away the console price. I bought a third copy the other week. It was $41 to download from the eshop. I bought nintendo cards for $45 so c:

If you are getting another copy for the purposes of cycling, storage, tt'ing, etc., then it is best to have another 3DS as you may forget the current date you have saved in your main one. Just a note.

Hmmmm. I dont know because we can't afford another 3ds and my mom thinks I play "my stupid games" too much so thats probably out of the question. I could try and scrounge up money for a 2ds which is pretty cheap.

Here is a trick I do in real life. Set up a goal that you want to buy, save up the change, could be dollars or coins. Once you have reached near that amount, your parents could pay the rest. It worked with me for my laptop.
