Should I do the villager cycle?

Ever since I lost Teddy I wanted to get him back, however I don't want for risk any of my villagers moving, except stitches. So I have 9/10 of my villager space taken up. Should I go through with it?

Personally I don't think the 16 cycle works well unless you have at least two villager spaces you don't care about. Because sometimes getting the tenth villager out is pain even though it is possible.

And if you do try to cycle 16 out..my best piece of advice is to go slowly and carefully.
I had Ankha move into a terrible location so I moved her out into my cycling town so I could cycle 16 and move her back into a better space...
I had two free spaces and wanted to cycle as fast as I could...in the process I had Marina, Octavian, and Apollo surprise move out which luckily I moved them into the second town as well but had to go from scratch cycling 16. I finished it in a week but again that was because I was in a rush.
