I can't pick ugh what do you think

Skinny path looks awesome. It also leaves more room to put things down such as trees, bushes etc. Personally I use the wider path in the upper part of town and the skinny path in the lower. Looks good so far though!! It also makes it easier to work around rocks.

You have a lot of space so I think a wider path would be nicer. You can still have room to put trees and flowers around the path of you want.

Ooh~ That makes a lot of sense. Im still thinking how to design near the gates and main street ; u ;
Thank you so much <3

In my town I have wide paths for the "main roads", and in smaller areas like leading to my campsite and stuff I have small dirt paths. I already love the paths you have tho :o

My main paths are all 2-tiles wide because I don't trust myself to run on a 1-tile wide path. I do use 1 tile wide for side paths like off to houses, or the campsite, and such though.

this is what i've been doing too!
i've given up on making dirt paths though,
they are so hard to make and i don't have the patience ><
i'll use another qr code for the skinny path

I think both are lovely. It really depends on your town's layout and what you're looking to do with it tbh. I personally like the look of wide paths better (especially complex single tile paths that only use a few qr codes instead of 10+ spots). That way, you have the option to go wide or thin. Best of both worlds. ;)

This makes a lot of sense, thank you so much c':
btw i hope to see your town soon!

I would generally make a wide path if I were you, but narrow ones look kinda cool when they are lined with trees, like a trail in a park. And make sure it matches the stone tiles at the town plaza, town hall and Re-Tail, for aesthetics.

Otherwise I'm not really into putting patterns on my ground, I like the natural forest look more :)

My paths are two to three tiles (sometimes larger in certain "plaza" like areas I've made). But I curve and angle my paths a lot so it makes it look a little smoother to have that width.

I have a mix of both wide and skinny paths, too, although I haven't laid them all out yet. And my main paths and paths I want to line with symmetrical streetlights are going to be wide, so I guess keep that in mind if you want the option to do that.

I personally think for your type of path a wide path would look better. the skinny path doesn't make it look much like a path. but lovely choice btw!

Wide looks cool when there's space. Thin when your in small areas.

That! When I visit dream towns, some have skinny paths like all over (i don't mind if its for like a small area) and it annoys me because I like wide paths like 2+ squares where you can run safely without trampling flowers.
