I really like the game, but I haven't checked on it in 6 months. What should I do. And please come up with a reason when you vote and one other thing. I will make many posts and villager trades/auctions after.

Make a 2nd character... check to see if your dreamies are still in town. If not don't save with your new character and just turn off the power and TT back to the last time you played. Then slowly start to TT forward.

Actually I've never gotten a dreamie and I don't like TTing far.

6 months isn't bad. I've left it for much longer although sometimes you may want to restart. Personally 6 months isn't too long and you can start playing again, or restart.

If you have beautiful ordinance not much will have changed, you might have lost a villager but tbh does that matter that much

Wow. 6 months. Hard to believe ACNL has been out that long. My precious baby is growing up, LOL. Check on your town. Villagers will be gone, weeds will have grown a lot, lots of flowers will have died, you'll have cockroaches and maybe raffelsias, remaining villagers will be shocked to see you, lots of villagers will meet you, you may even have unlocked something, you'll have a full mailbox and bedhead.

Well, do YOU want to check on your town? That's not really something we can decide for you. You should play if you want to, and if you don't want to then it's fine. :)

I had a similar situation, from October until recently (a bit before I joined here :o). Started up the game, IRL time, realized I didn't remember much, but it was still alright. Couldn't understand why my mayors hair was a mess (I've learned that now though) then I started playing some more in the town but realized it would be more fun to start over again (hadn't come very far in my town anyways)

So without saving stuff with help from other users, I restarted. Same town name, same name for mayor (but different appearance since I didn't want pink hair.. Didn't know I could chose it last time I played) and I'm actually happy I did.

It was fun playing in my old town as well though, I wasn't sure I wanted to restart, but there was so much I wanted to change (including the map) and it's fun with new villagers to get to know from scratch, and a new idea for how to build up a town.

TLDR: Similar situation. My suggestion; start up the game (no TT) and see how you feel about it. Do you want to continue with your town? Do it :) If not, that's the next problem ;)
