Should I buy the PSP 3000?

I recently bought the Nintendo DSi on April 5, and I have the Wii, GBA SP, GBA, and the original DS. I am trying to expand my collection, but I have been a Nintendo fan since I was three. I know what Nintendo is all about, but I'm trying to buy hardware from Sony. I want a PSP 3000, but I don't know what to expect from Sony, the system looks cool and all, but should I buy it?

its not much different from the psp slim and lite part from it has a mic and a slightly bigger screen

From what my brother says, the PSP 3000 isnt the best out of all of them, like the 2000 is actully the best one out of all three

True. I dislike mine for the lack of good games coming out for it. But there are some good titles for it. Star Wars: Renegade Squadron, Rock Band Unplugged(Release Date Eludes Me), Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep which is due out sometime this year I believe, and a couple of other games.

EDIT: Mine's the PSP 1000, sucks energy like no tomorrow, even after I charge it and play it a couple hours later.

Only get it if you really want it, there are some good games, but some are crap. I suggest Patapon and Loco Roco if you like those kind of games.
