Should I buy Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright?

Is Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright worth the money? I really like Professor Layton but I've never played Phoenix Wright though it looks good. I'm not sure if I should buy it, do you think I should?

Well, if you have the possibility to do so, then I would suggest downloading the demo for Dual Destinies and trying that first. That should give you an idea whether you like Phoenix Wright or not.

As much as I've loved playing this game, it's probably not for everyone. If you don't like visual novels, you won't like this game a lot. The trials can take quite some time (depending on how you play) and are quite different from the Professor Layton gameplay. I honestly admit that at some points I just wanted a trial to be over already, so that I could go back to searching for puzzles and solving those. That was only the first few chapters, though, later the pace picks up and the balance between the two (puzzles and trials) is actually very good.

That being said, it's an absolutely wonderful game and I don't regret buying it all; it was definitely worth the money!
