I can't anything over 250k bells.

Alpine (to catalog ->
Polka-Dot
Modern Wood (almost)
Rococo
Campus <-)
Cake dress (Gracie's)
Silver Slingshot
or to catalog music list (8 total)

only one of the following.

You might not get any bites. I haven't seen any for the past few days and when they were selling it was for around 2 million bells a piece.

^ Yeah, unfortunately I'm not loaded in bells atm. It's pretty easy b/c someone can just make a bunch of new villagers and get the dlc. Unless, the dlc date period has ended already. :/

Its completely ridiculous! The person I got mine from had around 20 lamps. I consider it a jerk move to gouge people for items that don't take any effort to get.

...lol

If only the US had non-reorderable dlc than at least people would have something to barter with. Oh well. I doubt I'll be able to get one, but it was worth a shot nonetheless. =|

Unfortunately, that's just how it is. There's a very high demand for EU exclusive items, whereas NA items don't have as high of a demand so us in America can't make too much profit off of it. Also, you should expect the price to inflate once the Shaved Ice Lamp is no longer available as a DLC. That's what is to be projected, anyways.

I think this problem should be brought up, a lot of people take advantage of players like that. Not just with the shaved Ice Lamp either...its kind of ridiculous.

Nobody is going to go out of their way for nothing in return, I understand that. But... to the point where it is unreasonable. :/

I also have:
some of the Princess series (wall, floor, birdcage, bed, lamp, dresser)
Small Silk Hat
Sloppy TV
edit: complete Bug series

I could offer. I really didn't want to tho.

The issue arises from the fact that 7-11 items are acquired the same way (literally, right now). They're identical to the shaved ice lamp in how many you can get, and how you get them. A japanese player can go get as many as (s)he wants, just like a european one. Because of this, we've been swapping with the japanese at 2:1, 1:1, and 1:2, so everyone is valuing ice lamps through the roof as a result.

Also, only 2 more days till you can't get ice lamps, possibly ever again. I should get some more :x

But you don't have Japanese players or players residing in Japan frolicking on these forums... which makes the 7-11 goods much, much more rare to come by.

Maybe a few residing, but the mass majority of players here is US or EUR players b/c this is (for the most part) an English-speaking forum. I thought it would be a bit easier than this to obtain, y'know?

well people are greedy, maybe if everyone stopped paying so much for shaved ice lamps price would go down.

I guess I got lucky then. I found a Japanese player and he handed the complete 7-11 set over when I had just started the game. He trusted me enough to pay him back one day.

If I have reorderable DLC that someone is looking for, I just charge them the catalog price.

Yeah, this is why I prefer just doing trades. Money only exists to buy stuff, so let's just get straight to the stuff, and bypass the hype-flation entirely.

On another note, I have a feeling that some of this will settle down in a few months. People who TT to make money and collect out of season items will burn themselves out, while the rest of us who play one day at a time still have things to look forward to.

At least, that's what I'm hoping, lol.

^amen to this. The shaved lamp thing has turned me into a socialist in this game. I allow people to catalog for free and if they want an item I just charge catalog price. I want to collect everything and help others do the same. Money is not a goal at all. After you pay off your house you don't really need it anymore.
