Share Your Island Map

still a wip but here’s my current map progress!

I like that you can easily navigate the entire island by following the path. I like islands that are easy to get around. Will you have a dream address at some point?

Also, that bridge coming off the little island in the middle looks so big! I love it 😅
thank you! lol i didn’t even notice that bridge is bigger than the others. idk maybe! i still feel like i have so much to do on my island but maybe one day i’ll make a dream address… they do seem really fun!

I've just finished designing my island (just waiting for that last bridge to be built tomorrow!) so now I can start decorating!

I love having a large lake that the entire island works around. There's a path which leads in a complete loop around the lake, making the island really simple to navigate, which I thought was really important when doing my daily tasks.

The 6 mini islands that sit inside the lake are each unique. The centre one is there to make navigation easy, and the other five each represent the 5 different fruits in the game. I plan to have the fruit items/furniture on these islands as well as the fruit trees. The top right island is nice because it has a great view of the big waterfall leading to the lake.

Every villager has their own little fenced-off yard, which I still need to decorate. It'll take a little while since I don't time travel or use treasure islands. But this is my forever island, so I'm happy to just chip away at it as I go.

I love your lake. I just want to know why I can't be that creative.

Thank you!

I’m really not that creative, I’m not very good at decorating, but I like to have rivers and cliffs that naturally guide you around the island. Having a huge lake makes it easy to create a natural circular route around the island.

The idea of the different mini islands for different fruit just came because I didn’t have a space for an orchard but I still wanted every fruit!
