Share your island lore!

I’m interested in hearing what you guys have thought of for your island lore! I’ve begun doing something for my own island and it would be cool to see what you’ve thought of!

The general idea of my island is that it's being contested by two factions, monsters and knights, but it's pretty much been completely taken over by the monsters. It's supposed to be all ruined looking, with some ruins older than others, and little camps and a little town where the last warrior stands for the knights, it's still under construction and I'm not keeping strict to the story, I just wanted to make an island that's exciting and feels dangerous and adventurous

Some punk washed up on a deserted island in March of 2020 and ever since has been surviving off of seawater and the local flora. A combination of dehydration and loneliness, and the consumption of psychoactive plants, has him believing that there are anthropomorphic animals living on the island with him. He talks to them as if they were real, built each of them their own house (his own, of course, is the biggest), and declared himself the Scorpion King.

Spoiler: They don't like him back.

I've recently decided I want to do a witch island and am gonna make a second character that lives in the top right of my island, secluded in a forest. Not the most original but I wanna have fun with it haha
