Setting Fire to the Sun; Setting the Sun on Fire

Is my new catchphrase. It either refers to the date a couple of friends and I plan on setting the sun on fire.

OR

It could be a phrase meaning "after doing that, there was no outcome". i.e. "Let's add water to the ocean!" It doesn't really do anything...
