Series Two cards delayed to produce more of the first series

So Nintendo has decided to delay the second series of amiibo cards in order to put more production towards the first series since the stock shortage has gotten so bad in Japan. This seems like a pretty great idea to me. We don't need the second series when we can barely get the first!

I'm disappointed, but it definitely makes sense! It looks like they still haven't even gotten out the restock they promised last week, so can't be helped.

I think this is a good move for Nintendo - allow them to produce more (because it seems they were underproduced and not stocked well enough) which lets more people get series one cards they want and will maximise sales.

Hopefully this won't affect other regions and their cards. Europe is already getting the amiibo cards and the game a week later than North America and I don't want to wait even longer for the rest of the cards I want. </3

They are finally catching on to what they have been doing wrong... I'm just worried it's gonna be a pain to get the cards I want if there are like 100 in each series... its probably obvious but does anyone know have many cards are to a pack and how much per pack??? I think it's supposed to be like 3 cards and $2ea?

For those of you looking to buy Japanese cards, it looks like the promised restock is coming, but it's quite limited!

Bic Camera, 7-Eleven Online, and Joshin Web now have stock, but it's limited to 1 pack per person/order.
Rakuten Books has 10 pack sets (no other type is in stock or has a self date), but only for a limited window of 3 hours (??).
There's a possible restock at amazon.jp for the 12th, but only of 5 packs + card protectors.

Hopefully their restock at the end of the month is better than this...

It doesn't really matter, since they haven't even announced all of series two yet. The only card that I really really want in series 1 is Walker. There will be 4 series so far, but I think there will be more added on.
