I've gone to my local Gamestop several times since June 10th. They keep saying there's no release date for the Series 4 Amiibo cards. I have yet to find a pack anywhere. Did Nintendo suddenly cancel the release?

I am located in Ontario, Canada and I was able to buy some at Toys R Us and EB Games!

Series #04 (Card Nos. 301 to 400) were released in the United States on Friday, June 10, 2016.

I purchased at Target and Best Buy locations while I was in Colorado.

I did happen to go into a Game Stop on Tuesday [June 21, 2016] and did not see any Series #04 Amiibo Cards. But, that was one particular location of a Game Stop. I cannot say anything more.

My suggestion is to get around. As I mentioned…Target, Best Buy, and anything else which may occur to you (including Internet websites such as Amazon.com).

I have checked at all my local stores and none have them. I checked Walmart, Target and Best Buy.

I haven't even been able to find series 3... and it took months for me to find a place with series 2 ^^; This is getting ridiculous XD

It could be management at particular stores. But, I would think these stores people are talking about are national-level ones; which should suggest consistency, location after location. That said, there may have been decisions to not stock up on Series #04 for particular locations. To give an idea: If one is shopping for a particular something at a Home Depot or Lowe's, not every single location of either store guarantees stocking it. It can be a market decision. I just came back over a week ago from being in Colorado. (This was in Fort Collins. I live in Michigan; Detroit area.) And Target and Best Buy had Series #04. I was in Colorado on June 10; so, I bought the Amiibo Cards there. With the earlier releases, I had no problem getting them in my area. So, this is strange. Perhaps, for people having problems getting Series #04 in their area, it has had to do with Series #01 and/or Series #02 and/or Series #03 not selling well; again, in their specific area. And that a decision was made to not stock Series #04 Amiibo Cards.

Did you check Toys R Us?

Game Stop?

Just an FYI, GameStop has chosen NOT to carry series 4 amiibo cards nationwide. They have put 2 of the prior 3 series on clearance, and is just a matter of time before series 3 also goes on clearance. Toys R Us, Amazon, Best Buy and Target all offer series 4 cards to purchase online if your local stores don't carry them.

Haven't been able to find them anywhere in my town. Best Buys, Walmarts, Targets, Gamestops. Not a thing. Glad to know they released it!

So THAT'S why I haven't been able to find any. I guess I'll have to look around on Amazon, since I don't have any of the other stores close enough that my parents are willing to drive to. Pretty pathetic, a 23 year old guy who still doesn't know how to drive.

In Canada Ebgames that is owned by Gamestop did a preorder for me. They got one box for me and another box for other customers.
There were no cards at Walmart, Best Buy or Toys R Us. Best Buy said they were only available online.

The staff at Ebgames said they don't sell well. People stealing them could be a reason why the other stores decided to sell them online.
After trading on this board I finished my collection using Ebay. The seller that I've bought from had the same prices. Others had the price almost double. Found it was easier buying the last few cards there. Less in postage or buying a pack to see if I could find the missing ones.
