selling a villager with 2 towns, 1 3DS

So I literally am broke after buying villagers and I need some money in my main town. I've got a second game, and some pretty popular villagers and I want to sell them. But I don't know how to go about getting the money in my main town. Would it be completely ridiculous and risky to let them talk to the villager in my alt town but then have them drop the money in my main town? Or should I just ask someone to hold the bells from my alt town and then come pick them up on my main town character. The first option is risky. The second option would take quite a bit of time. Advice please!

I do the latter with one of my good friends all the time, it takes all of 10 minutes tops lol including dropping items too.

Yeah I was just thinking for big amounts like when I bought Lolly for 40mil a few days ago, it took like an hour to transfer all the money hahah

Really depends on how much you trust the person. There are some folks that, even if I haven't dealt with them before, I'd be willing to give them the villager in my alt town then pick up the cash with my main town.

Also, you can use Re-Tail to move vast amounts of money more efficiently. Set up items (preferably common flowers) in each spot, set for maximum price, then have the person buy the flowers. You'd need roughly the same number of items as millions being transferred (5 million, 5 flowers) but it's easier than dropping money.

Oh man, yeah I know that takes forever, but I never had enough to transfer that much to my 2nd town lol so I never had to deal with that

Yeah it takes so long. And I have Fauna. I'm not sure how much she'll go for but I'm guessing quite a bit. Anyways, I think I'll do the first option and just trust them. Thanks for your replies!
