When I was telling someone about villager plot resetting (she doesn't know/play games) and I told her it was important because I spent a lot of money buying my villager on the animal slave trade haha

Nope. I pay those threads no mind. I have zero interest in buying, trading, or selling villagers. I let everything happen naturally in my town. I've gotten to know and love some ugly villagers that way.

First thing i saw that reminded me of Neopets, actually

On Neopets it really feels like animal traffic lol for some reason I don't see it that way here. Maybe because they have houses and stuff? idk

That's exactly why I refer to it as "The Underground Villager Slave Trade" when telling my friends
about how to make bells and getting dreamies.

Nope. They don't have to work for you so they are no slaves. They have a horrible life in the cycling towns and then a happy mayor adopts them and then the villagers are so happy (lol, I mean I guess they are happy) and I don't think slaves are happy?

It feels no different, really. Same tier system of organizing, same high-tier demand. Just you can't pay there.

In any case, villagers are hopefully going to very good homes if people are willing to shell out millions.
