Okay i've seen it multiple times how someone just makes a new town and keeping the other one ...

You copy the save file of AC:CF to your sd card most of them say

You need the homebrew channel in order for this to work

isn't the homebrew channel like a thing that also gets you hacked stuff?

If that is what you use it for, yes. The only thing with AC I have used homebrew for is the Save Extractor and the Save loader.

The homebrew channel also gives you the latest in Wii Tools, games and emulators. It is only used for hacking games with a certain program within the homebrew channel. Not everyone who uses the homebrew channel cheats lol

owh okay, and it doesn't mess up your game in any way?

If done wrong, or if you dont make a copy of your save file, then yes you can potentially lose your saved game data of your current town
