Second player can ask villager whos leaving to stay?

I asked pinky to stay from the campsite and she said tex would go in her place I'm trying to have my second player talk tex out of it but hes not saying anything

I don’t think it works like that. Once they choose who to replace you can either agree or close the game out & try again to see if they choose someone else. But once you agree I don’t think there’s any going back from that.
