Second character questions

Curious if I make a second character, do I get the same amount of fossils? Also, do both characters get the daily money rock trick or just one?

Plus are there any negatives to having two characters?

I’m not sure about fossils, but you’ll both get money rock (I think) and a benefit is that sales and stuff won’t appear at nooks unless u make a second character

another benefit to having a second character: since every player character shares a house in Wild World, paying of the debt for that house can be done easier with more players all working toward it than just one person on one file.
