Seaside/Pirate themed villagers

[Dorian]

Okay, so Oyster Bay is shaping up nicely. I am using my perfect pears and all the exotic fruit trees, exotic starts and water related public works projects as they come up.

Villagers who are staying are thus far:

Octavian cranky
Zucker lazy
Drago lazy
Bubbles peppy
Marina (moving in soon, I hope) normal
Annalise (not seaside really, but so cute!) snooty
I am on the fence about Bud, (jock) but his surfer, beach bum personality and looks are winning me over. I had planned on either Ribbot or Frobert as my jock.
I still need a smug and am torn between faithful sheepdog Shep and suave Chops.
I also need an uchi and am thinking of Hazel, Katt or Shari.

I wanted animals who make me think of rain and water and pirates therefore the Octopi Trio, hippo Bubbles, Dragon Gator Drago. Anyone want to throw out any ideas I may have missed?

Yeah, but I have so many ducks in my other towns... I thought about bringing over Joey, Miranda and Scoot, but I don't know. I even thought about bringing in Quillson as my smug. What do you think about that?

I'm personally not a fan of either smug you have picked out but out of them I'd say Shep. I can see him kind of as the dog on the ship (kinda like Prince Eric's dog in Little Mermaid). But have you considered Keaton the eagle? His house is a frickin beach paradise. He'd fit in well.

And I think Frobert would fit in really well as your jock.

Bud just moved in to my town.I've had him in my cycling town since December and I took a liking to him.His house is sparsely furnished but I like it.Any house with a large man-eating shark on display is okay with me.I knew there was a smug with a beach theme but I couldn't remember who it was until I read Shannennen's post.Keaton is a bit odd looking but I like his coloring.A couple of other smugs that remind me of sailing ships and the ocean are Beardo and Eugene.They have that burnside/mutton chop facial hair that some of the old time sea captains used to have.Do you no longer have Rod,the pirate mouse?He's a natural for your town.

Nunna, I do still have Rod in Misfit! I am going to move him to Oyster! Thanks for jogging my memory! I will miss Bud though, lol. I agree, when I saw the giant shark, I was charmed.

I just thought about Tangy and now I feel stupid because she's one of my villagers and I wasn't even thinking about her.

Yes and the interior of her house is tropical too! I don't know if you already have a peppy, but if you don't, you should definitely fit her in.

Edit: Oh you already have Bubbles, so I don't know.

Oh I forgot about O'Hare! He is tropical! He wear the blue island shirt. I had him as an original in my very first town! He is a good choice! I think for an uchi I have decided on Shari. She is a monkey and I have never had her and would love to get to meet her.
