Shaved Ice Lamp for Palm Tree Lamp

I'm willing to trade my Shaved Ice Lamp (EU dlc) for someone's Palm Tree Lamp (US dlc)!

You know... the plam tree is for the EU as well ^^ Just connect with the normal internet and grab it :) So no need to trade?

The EU lamp is also not reorderable and the plam tree is it!

So is there no way for us in the U.S. to get the shaved ice lamp except for trading?

Looks like that ^^' But I'm sure NA will get also no-reorderable DLCs... and then it's easy to trade ;)

correct it is a regional exclusive like our Best Buy DLC. Cat tower, suitcase, guitar, etc.

Yeah I am not sure why they made the cat tower orderable. AFAIK it's an item completely unique to the US, yet it's worthless because it can be ordered. The US is the only region (I believe) that doesn't have an exclusive non-orderable DLC. Sucks...

Well that's just nice of Nintendo.

Part of me thinks it was a mistake... or maybe not. Crossing my fingers that the next item is exclusive, but that is a few weeks away.

I actually had four characters ready and waiting to pick up the cat tower thinking it would be unique, but decided to check after my third character... happy I did lol. Plan was to stock up but no need. :(

I'm pretty sure NA gets exklusive items... ! Wouldn't make sense when not... It's the first item. So be patient. Maybe the next on in NA is not-reorderable and the EU item is reorderable. Would be a good basic to trade... ^^'

It's actually the second, in tandem with the EU shaved ice lamp, which IS exclusive... that is the reason for being upset. JP and EU having a hayday trading while the US is left in the dust lol.

It's the seconde? What was the first? The clock? xD NA will get a not-reorderable item... when not it would be so unfair and mean from Nintendo ^^'

I'm glad I'm not the only person who feels this way.
I actually feel a bit cheated. :(

I can say one thing though, this has increased my bartering skills tremendously. They UK folk are snapping up shaved ice lamps by the dozens. Meanwhile I am turning pencil shavings into exclusive DLC items LOLOLOLOL!

You know, I'm really hoping that Starbucks (or hell... even McDonalds) squeezes out a few DLCs exclusively for North America, just like 7-11 did for Japan. I know that there's probably no point in hoping though. I don't really see them caring about Animal Crossing or the people who play it, lol.

But, you have to admit that having a creepy Ronald McDonald bench would be pretty damn cool.

With the Ronald statue sitting there? Yes it would!

But seriously, a place where it would make sense would be GameStop, or some such. They already have kiosks. Why not just add Nintendo zone? Would make sense... and those shops are ALL OVER THE PLACE.

Statteside the DLC seems to be kind of lackluster. I havent officially seen adds anywhere, and most of the Best Buy consoles are either off or broken. It's not even worth looking for one though. I can just catalogue the items... -_-

Sweet Korean Jesus, don't even get me started on Best Buy Nintendo Zones...
It's so awkward to walk around the store, with an open 3DS, trying to find the signal. I'm 22. When people see someone my age prancing around the store with a poptart 3DS XL, they probably assume a lot of things... xD

After looking around the game section for a while, I was finally able to connect to the Nintendo Zone in front of the PS3 games. Although I ran into another Animal Crosser who was just as embarrassed, it was still awful. Never again. I hooked up an old wireless router this time and got my DLCs from my house.
