Rune Factory 4

So, after debating on whether or not to buy this game for months now, I've finally done so and am currently downloading it. I still have no idea whether I'll really like it or not (despite the many reviews I've read), but I'm looking forward to finding out.

I've never played a Rune Factory game before, so this will be a first for me. I was actually hoping Story of Seasons would come to Europe, but after reading more about it, I figured the game wouldn't really be my cup of tea (though I've never played a Harvest Moon game before either, so I can't really be sure). It seems that Rune Factory has more to do (not that Story of Seasons doesn't have a lot to do), so hopefully I'll be able to play this game for quite some time, while at the same time not giving myself a burnout like I did with Fantasy Life.

Anyway, if anyone has any tips or tricks for a complete newbie like myself, they would be most welcome. From what I understand the tutorial does a good job of explaining things, so I should be fine, I think. But still, if you can think of anything that would be useful for me to know, it would be much appreciated if you told me.

I have both Story of Seasons and Rune Factory 4, and I like RF4 much better ^^ I can't think of any tips off hand, but if you have any questions let me know!
