(Sorry if this has been posted before. I just want to help others out.) I noticed that a lot of misinformation has been spreading. I just want people to know the right information since many people have been asking many questions and not posting in the Question thread.

"Paths prevent grass wear."
Many people thought that this was true. However, paths don't. But if you step on them enough, it actually creates a dirt path and it looks pretty nice! But seriously, paths do not prevent grass wear.

"Katrina's in town! I need the Fortune Telling Shop, so come on to my town!"
Sorry, but only your readings count. So if you have been doing this for a long time, you have just wasted your time. D:

"So for the town station renovation, do I need unique visitors?"
No, you only need 100 visits from any visitor(s.) You could have one visitor visit 100 times or 100 visitors visit once. Or any possible combination on Earth.

"I've been standing on the island for an hour and I still don't have a tan!"
You do not have to be on the island to tan. You can be anywhere in the town (you can go to the island if you want, if you want to spend 1000 bells for a tan.) as long as it's sunny and you don't have a long-brimmed hat. Also, the tan will appear the next day, not right away. It may appear when you quit and log on again, but I'm not sure.

"Does villager count matter for a perfect town?"
This has come up a lot, so I want to prove it TRUE. But, as long as you have a lot of good PWPs, it should all be fine. Just don't have a garbage can, illumination projects, the oil rigger, etc.

"It's cool because whenever I swim for 5 minutes, get out with my inventory empty, and walk in front of any animal, I magically get that Zen Garden I want so badly!"
This is only because nearly NONE of your villagers saw you for a long time. It's best to leave your inventory empty and stay in one place. Then, an animal just might walk in front of you and see you. Or, you could just walk around and not talk to your villagers for 10 minutes.

I love hitting my animals with nets and hammers, y'know? It gets them to move! Oh yeah, I also like reporting them to Isabelle. Plus, when Isabelle says she's going to stuff soap up ___'s mouth, I laugh!
It's actually best to either ignore the villager for a couple weeks and they may bring the subject up. But, if you let them, they will most likely cancel the move. So the MOST CERTAIN way to get them to move out is to befriend them. It doesn't make sense, but it works.

"If I come a bit late or a bit early to my villager's house because ___ wanted me to, is that OK?"
Yes, as long as you made the effort to actually visit them, it's probably fine! Just make sure to arrive sharp or fashionably late.

"Is the king tut mask making villagers move a rumor or does it work?"
This is only a sheer coincidence. If anyone can confirm this though, it would be most appreciated!
Thanks for reading! I'll post later. If you guys post some, I'll happily add it to the thread!

I think it just happens to be coincidence. My theory was maybe it works on certain villagers/personalities, but it seems like nobody was keeping track.

Btw: This seems soo random but could I stop by someone's town to get some paper to send mail? I really wanna try this trick but I'm too lazy to TT and get paper right now lol.

I'm currently testing the "send items they don't like" theory, but I can't say anything more on the matter since I don't TT. I just hope these Princess Dresses I'm sending Charlise repulses her enough to leave. D:

If you still need paper, you can come over to mine. I'll have you added and open my gates in just a sec if you want~

i read somewhere the tan on the island only works if you go before 9am. is that true?

I'm not sure if that's true. As long as it's sunny and you don't have a hat, I don't see why it wouldn't work :D

Really? -__- That was a bit rude.
Oh sorry, I didn't mean to offend you. I just don't want clutter coming up. Sorry for sounding rude :<

There's also that rumor about if you ask your villagers for specific PWP in a letter or if you mention a specific PWP on your town bulletin board that they will ask for it. It's not true. And if it happens to anyone, it's just coincidence.
